The art of silhuette! I became more aware of that when the devlopers of Team Fortress 2 pointed out how they created their characters and used silhuettes at beginning in order to see if you could recognise their ingame characters with out the shading and textures. To them that is very important, as the game is quite fast paced and you don't have much time to look at your foes too much!
I became interested in silhuettes as that could improve my modeling techniques. A clean model would help my textures alot.
